Tools of the College Trade: Bite Squad and Shipt

Hello! Happy finals season!  I am finally home from college, and this semester was the most difficult to date.

If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that Shipt and Bite Squad are amazing! These two companies made this past semester so much more bearable.

Bite Squad is a food delivery service that services within four miles of your location. Some restaurants are not on the app, but most of them are. You can get unlimited delivery for $5.99 per month. I found myself enjoying chicken and rice, steak quesadillas, Bento fried rice and even sushi. Some of my favorite restaurants included Chili’s, Bento, Mi Apa and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Side note: Each of these restaurants have vegan-friendly options, too.

Shipt is a grocery delivery service. I started using Shipt within the last four weeks of the semester because I was able to get a month of service for $14. Also, I didn’t want to give up my parking spot to go buy groceries. (Yes, I am serious.)

Utilizing these two services allowed me to focus on the last few weeks of classes, studying and (the dreaded) finals week.

You can sign up for these great services at these websites:

*Note: This post is not sponsored by the companies above. I enjoyed using these companies and wanted to share my experience as a University of Florida student.
